Regarding the commencement of a demonstration experiment by SBI Healthcare and Aktivo Labs at the Yokohama City Sports Center
SBI Healthcare Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tomonari Yasuda; hereinafter “SBI Healthcare”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced a pilot project with Aktivo Labs (Headquarters: Anson Road, Singapore; CEO: Gourab Mukherjee; hereinafter “Aktivo Labs”) at 12 Yokohama City Sports Centers operated by the Yokohama City Sports Association, starting in April 2026.
In this pilot project, Aktivo Labs’ innovative digital health platform “Aktivo®” will be introduced into the dedicated app provided by SBI Healthcare (hereinafter “SBI Healthcare App”) to support exercise habits and health promotion among users of Yokohama City Sports Centers. Through this initiative, we aim to verify the effectiveness of promoting the establishment of exercise habits and contribute to extending healthy life expectancy in the future.
Background
SBI Healthcare utilizes the SBI Healthcare app to provide health improvement services, including support services for preventing the worsening of lifestyle-related diseases, through recording the achievement status of daily behavioral goals and health indicators, as well as communication with professional coaches.
On the other hand, although the importance of exercise habits in preventing lifestyle-related diseases and promoting health is strongly recognized, there is a challenge in that appropriate support and systems are not sufficiently available, making it difficult to increase the effectiveness and sustainability of exercise habits and health promotion.
